IELTS Score

I wrote the IELTS on 27th Nov 2004. IDP India which administrated the examination in Hyderabad was fast in providing the results. I recieved my scores today. I did just below my expectations. The writing score is the most puzzling.

The scores were as follows (on a scale of 0-9) :

The required minimum is 6.5 overall and no band below 6.

Listening : 8
Reading : 8.5
Writing : 6
Speaking : 8

Overall band score : 7.5
